Full sun to part shade. Tolerates cold, drought and coastal conditions. Suits well drained to heavy clay soils. |

Water as required for 8-13 weeks until established. Plant in a well mulched garden (chunky mulch is recommended). If required use slow release fertiliser in spring. For a tidy hedge prune yearly, for a natural shape prune every 2-3 years or not at all. |
