Description:

A large native shrub to small tree. The leaves are fairly narrow and grow to about 6cm in length. Young leaves are toothed, but become smooth edged as they mature. The underside of the leaves has a silvery grey colour. Spikes of yellow flower in spring, summer and autumn. |

Full sun to part shade, well drained soils. |
Care:
|
Water as required for 8-13 weeks until established, then do not overwater. Plant in a well mulched garden. Prune lightly after flowering to maintain a bushy dense habit and to keep the plant looking tidy. Apply a slow release native fertilizer annually. Supplement with iron to prevent the yellowing of leaves. |
