Description:

Native shrub with a variable form, from semi-prostrate to 1.2m tall. Oval shaped leaves often with conspicuous oil glands on the surface. On some forms the leaves bend back against the stem, making it look like the plant is under water stress. Bell shaped flowers to 40mm long usually in winter to early spring. May be pale green, red or red with yellow tip. |

Full sun to part shade. Prefers moist, well drained soils. |
Care:

Water as required for 8-13 weeks until established. Plant in a well mulched garden. Prune after flowering to mainten a dense habit. Fertilise with a native fertiliser annually. |
